The morning sun warms the forest floor, turning the ground into pools of red. As the early sky lightens, the dark trunks are set aglow and only the distant lake remains untouched.

Always fascinated by the vibrant colours and shapes that make up the fields, forests and lakes around me, I work with acrylic paint on wood panel to transform the Canadian landscape into a series of abstract patterns.
